Building a house can be a daunting experience. We hired Konen Homes because we knew that we could trust them and loved the work they had done on other houses. We truly had no idea what we wanted and how were going to fit a house on our challenging lot. Pam and Jeff guided us through the process. They were there from the moment we met with the architect, to picking out appliances and fixtures, paint, windows… you name it, they were there to offer us choices and guide us each step of the way. Each of the meetings was enjoyable and extremely organized.

From the start they laid out a plan and we never really strayed from it. We actually came in right on budget and ahead of schedule. We literally don’t have any complaints. We are so proud of the work they did and love to show off the amazing house they created for us!

We spent a year with designers and architects to plan a highly customized garage space. When it came time to hire a contractor to execute our plan, we choose Konen Homes. From the start of the project we felt very comfortable with their understanding of what we were trying to accomplish with the space. From the beginning of the project, Jeff, Pam and their team of talented craftsmen, worked hard to successfully execute the construction plan on time and on budget.

More than that, they added to the project by bringing in their own unique ideas for to make the space really come alive. Their ability to source unique materials and execute a complex and unconventional plan, was outstanding. Throughout the building process, they kept the level of communication very high, both in terms of the project cost, and estimated time to completion. We experienced no negative surprises, only positive ones. We would seek out Konen Homes again for any future building project.

As first-time custom homebuilders, we had no experience with the build process. Jeff and Pam made our endeavor a fabulous one. They were extremely easy to work with, and they made sure we were comfortable with every decision. The job site was always clean, and their staff was very friendly and courteous. Not to mention that they finished ahead of schedule and on budget. The quality of work and craftsmanship gave our new home the WOW factor that we were looking for.

Having been through several smaller remodeling projects in the past, we were prepared to face a lot of headaches with such a large scale project. But thanks to the hard work and professionalism of Konen Homes, we never had to worry. They handled all aspects of the job with complete dedication to getting things right. We can't tell you how much that means to us in creating our home.

After spending 6 months designing our dream basement, our search began for a quality contractor to make that dream come true. We presented our plans to building contractors and reviewed several bids. Konen Homes won our business. We selected Konen Homes for a number of reasons. First, they demonstrated industry knowledge by providing design and material alternatives. Jeff had wonderful design ideas for beaming above our bar despite a 7 ft ceiling height and it turned out beautiful. Pam was resourceful in selecting a smaller granite piece for our bathroom that reduced the price significantly yet provided the same look and feel as our original granite selection. She also has wonderful design sense. Second, Jeff is an excellent general contractor. He manages jobs to exceed project completion expectations. Our project was on time or ahead of schedule the entire project. Each day something was getting accomplished. Third, their sub-contractors were very skilled, friendly and helpful. Our project utilized almost every sub-contractor with the exception of landscaping. The attention to detail each worker expressed through their final product is seen and enjoyed by us each day in our basement. Finally, we have very busy schedules. Jeff and Pam worked very hard and provided superior customer service by accommodating our schedules and meeting as early as 7:00 am or as late as 8:00 pm to provide project updates or finalize a selection.
